The Blood Transfusion Department is one of the hospital's key clinical support units, dedicated to ensuring safe and adequate blood supply for patient care and safeguarding lives.

Equipped with advanced testing systems, we perform precise ABO/Rh blood typing (with near 100% accuracy) and irregular antibody screening. For cross-matching, we employ multiple techniques including microcolumn gel and polybrene methods to rigorously verify donor-recipient compatibility, eliminating potential transfusion reaction risks. We also offer autologous blood storage services.

A comprehensive blood management system ensures full-process monitoring from blood collection, storage, and distribution to clinical use, guaranteeing complete traceability and quality control for every blood unit.

We actively participate in clinical transfusion guidance, collaborating with all departments to develop personalized transfusion protocols based on patient conditions. By strictly controlling transfusion indications, we promote scientific and rational blood use while avoiding unnecessary transfusions.
