IVF-ET (In Vitro Fertilization and Embryo Transfer)
Recommended for conditions such as ovulatory dysfunction, tubal transport issues, endometriosis, mild male factor infertility (e.g., oligoasthenozoospermia), unexplained infertility, and immune-related infertility. Contraindications include severe psychiatric disorders, infectious diseases, certain genetic conditions, and uterine abnormalities.
ICSI (Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection)
Primarily used for severe male infertility including oligozoospermia, asthenozoospermia, teratozoospermia, and obstructive azoospermia. Same contraindications as IVF-ET apply. Severe sperm DNA damage requires careful evaluation.
Intrauterine Insemination (IUI)
Suitable for mild male factor infertility, cervical factors, anatomical abnormalities of the female reproductive tract, immunologic infertility, and unexplained infertility. Not recommended for patients with acute reproductive or urinary infections, significant genetic conditions, or severe systemic illnesses.
